The Role
As Chief of Staff at New Haven Counts, you'll be the strategic partner to our executive team, ensuring seamless operations and driving key initiatives forward. You'll bridge departments, manage special projects, and help translate vision into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual strategic planning process
- Monitor progress on organizational goals
- Develop KPIs and reporting systems
- Research and analyze growth opportunities
- Manage cross-departmental initiatives
- Coordinate special projects and events
- Ensure timely project delivery
- Manage project budgets and resources
- Support CEO and senior leadership
- Facilitate board and leadership meetings
- Manage sensitive communications
- Represent leadership in external meetings
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of senior-level administrative or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit or education sector
- Master's degree (MBA or relevant field)
- Experience with board governance and fundraising
- Knowledge of strategic planning methodologies
