New Haven Counts is entering a transformative chapter. Since 2018, we've grown from a pilot program into a citywide system serving 650+ students across 16 school sites, powered by nearly 100 supervisors, interns, coaches, and support staff. We also rely on the support of another 100 volunteers.

In 2026, we are transitioning to a fully board-managed governance structure—moving from startup energy to institutional strength. This is not ceremonial leadership. This is strategic stewardship of a growing organization with real impact, real accountability, and real responsibility.
